Wow! Did I love this book. Andy is as snarky as ever. He's still terrified of Laurie. Doesn't understand a word Marcus speaks. The usual. Except this novel takes place in Maine (where Rosenfelt actually lives now), and the bad guys are truly nasty. The good ones are mixed, which makes them more real. Including Matt, the client, who is accused of a violent double murder in Maine. Andy meets him in NJ, however, where Matt saves a dog from an abusive owner.Don't want to give anything away. Just go with it. Funny, scary, thoughtful, and I adore the dogs (and I'm a cat person). Best of the best!
